We are the Evidence Hub from Latin America and the Caribbean, created in 2022 to promote connection and collaboration between actors interested in evidence-informed policies.

We are organized by three institutions from countries in the region: Instituto Veredas (Brazil), Universidad of Antioquia (Colombia), and the Ministry of Health of Chile.

This year we established a partnership with the Semana de la Evidencia initiative, an annual event for organizations dedicated to research with an impact on public policy. The 2022 edition will take place between the 14th and 18th of November, and registration is open. Check the website, register for your event, and learn about the program.

 

The creation of the Hub, as well as the funding of its first year of activities and this event, were only possible through the Partnership for Evidence and Equity in Responsive Social Systems (PEERSS) 'Partners for Rapid Learning in Social Systems', nº 109021, with the help of a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the International Development Research Center (IDRC), Ottawa, Canada.
